The Song and Video views are essentially straight lists that you can flick through.

The app's Playlist view lets you browse recently added, now playing, and recently played tracks-the same as Android 2.1's default music player. Other Features, a Few Quirks, and Conclusions

If your tracks lack album art data, you'll want to get that sorted out first otherwise, you'll see a large, ugly music note icon in its place. Suffice to say that the playback view looks good, but the album art is really the star of the show here. Click the Menu button while on this screen, and you'll see three options: Library, which returns you to the prior view Use as Ringtone, which converts the track and sets it as the default ringtone and Play Queue, which queues up tracks for later playback. The repeat and shuffle buttons are particularly nice tap one, and it will glow a cool ice blue.

Tap on a track, and you'll see a full-screen view that displays a much larger album art graphic, plus playback controls. Tilt the handset on its side, and nothing happens you don't get a Cover Flow-style jukebox view of all the album covers. Unfortunately, the app doesn't respond to the internal accelerometer. The album view works the same way as the artist view, but groups tracks by album instead. The artist view displays all tracks grouped by artist tap on one, and the artist entry will expand to show all tracks, complete with a small album art thumbnail. Start up the app, and you'll see six large icons arranged in a grid: Artists, Albums, Songs, Videos, Playlists, and Podcasts.
